Israel Canada Hotels Expands to Greece

As reported by Maariv, Israel Canada Hotels, controlled by Barak Rosen and Assi Touchmair, reported about an agreement to purchase a hotel in Athens, and the company is expected to buy additional hotels in the city. The scope of the deal is estimated at 10 million euros. After updating the hotel company’s strategy, including operations abroad, the agreement was made. The hotels will operate under the “Play” brand.

Following its expansion, the company included as a financial partner the company Menorah Mivtachim in exchange for an injection of NIS 88 million for 15% of its shares. The company controls several hotels in Israel, including the former Gali Kinneret Hotel (now Lake House Kinneret), the Nofey Gonen Resort, the Hammam Complex in Eilat, the Solei Boutique Hotel in Eilat, and other hotels in the Dead Sea and Tel Aviv.
